I will take action to advocate for NMUSD stakeholders at every possible opportunity. Our District is in dire need of strong leadership and new direction - focused on academic excellence and students' needs not declining rankings due to special interests.

My commitment to the community has included:

Newport Harbor High School (NHHS) - Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) accreditation; School Site Council; Newport Harbor Education Foundation Home Tour volunteer; Vice President of the Newport Harbor Athletic Foundation; President of the NHHS Girls' Soccer Boosters; Ensign Intermediate - School Site Council.

Woodland and Kaiser Elementary - School Site Council: co-founder of a STEM focused Foundation; Vice President of Fundraising - PFO and PTA; AYSO Soccer Coach; Preschool Teacher at Westcliff Early Childhood Education Center and President of my church.

I am a Newport Harbor High School graduate, attended Orange Coast College and earned my BA from the University of California, Irvine.
